    I’ve read a lot of books on internet marketing … and I mean a lot… and most of them are pretty tired, repeating the same old ideas and advice.

    In comparison, Parkin’s book is a breath of fresh air. It’s a no-nonsense, practical guide that sets out a clear framework for a successful digital marketing programme; and it’s clear right from the beginning that he really knows his stuff. I’m in the midst of launching a new online business, and despite having been through this whole process before (successfully) I was really struggling until I found this book. I found Parkin’s emphasis on strategy especially helpful in developing a clear vision for my new business and drawing up a marketing plan that will take us successfully through launch and beyond. I only wish I’d found it 6 months ago!

I see this book as being relevant to the field for many years to come and would highly recommend it as a solid introduction to digital marketing.
